Jyske Bank A/S is the third largest Danish bank by market share, an Aktieselskab providing retail, private and business banking services, with its main office in Silkeborg, Denmark, 98 branches across the country and one international branch in Hamburg, Germany. It was formed in 1967 through the merger of four regional mid-Jutland institutions, Silkeborg Bank, Kjellerup Bank, Kjellerup Handels- og Landbobank, and the Handels- og Landbrugsbank in Silkeborg, each tracing its own roots back to the nineteenth century. The bank trades on Nasdaq Copenhagen under the ticker JYSK.
