Jones Day is an American multinational law firm founded in 1893 in Cleveland, Ohio, and now based in Washington, D.C. Known as a white shoe practice, it operates roughly 40 offices worldwide and employs about 2,422 attorneys, generating 2.5 billion dollars in revenue in 2022. The firm has represented more than half of the companies in the Fortune 500, including Goldman Sachs, General Motors, and McDonalds, and its practice spans corporate, litigation, and specialized legal work. It has also become prominent for representing Republican political campaigns and conservative causes.
