John F. Betz and Son, Inc. was a beer brewery founded in Philadelphia in 1775, operating from a plant at 415 Callowhill and 5th and Lawrence Streets until it closed in 1939. The company also operated a second brewery in Jersey City, New Jersey, founded with Henry Lembeck as the Lembeck and Betz Eagle Brewing Company. Betz produced India pale ales, porters, bocks, pilseners, and lagers, and John F. Betz Sr. was connected by family relation to the Yuengling brewing dynasty.
