Janów Podlaski Stud Farm is the oldest state stud farm in Poland, established in 1817 near the town of Janów Podlaski in the country's east and specializing in breeding Arabian and Anglo-Arabian horses across roughly 2,500 hectares. The stud survived heavy losses in both world wars and built a reputation as a leading centre for Arabian horse breeding, and it now hosts the internationally known Pride of Poland auction, an annual sale that draws buyers from around the world for its purebred horses.
