J.E. Rhoads & Sons was an American manufacturer of mechanical belting, founded in 1702 by Joseph Rhoads in Marple, Pennsylvania, and later headquartered in Wilmington, Delaware and then Branchburg, New Jersey. The company made leather belting and later rubber belting for industrial machinery, and at the time of its closure in 2009 was described as the longest continually operating company in the United States, having been in business for 307 years. Its brand and trademarks were acquired by Mid-Atlantic Belting after it closed.
