InterMedia is a Russian media news agency, founded in Moscow in 1993 by Yevgeny Safronov, Alexander Shumsky and Dmitry Anoshin, that covers the country's music, film, theater and celebrity news industries. It compiles the Russian Federation's music charts and produces the Russian Music Yearbook, drawing sales data from thousands of music retailers, and in 2018 it took over music certification duties from the National Federation of Phonograph Producers.
