Interbrew was a Belgian brewing company formed in 1987 through the merger of Brouwerij Artois and Piedboeuf Brewery, producing beer brands including Stella Artois, Beck's and Leffe. In 2004 Interbrew combined with the Brazilian brewer Ambev to form InBev, at the time the world's largest brewing company by volume with roughly 14 percent global market share; InBev later merged with Anheuser-Busch to form Anheuser-Busch InBev.
