The Hull and Selby Railway was a British railway line between Kingston upon Hull and Selby, authorized by an act of Parliament in 1836 and opened in 1840, connecting at Selby with the Leeds and Selby Railway. The line remains in active use, now owned and maintained by Network Rail, carrying passenger services operated by several train operating companies as well as freight from the Port of Hull.
