HCL Technologies, rebranded HCLTech, is an Indian multinational information technology and consulting company headquartered in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, founded by Shiv Nadar on 12 November 1991 when the HCL group entered the software services business. It provides IT and business services, engineering and research and development services, and enterprise software through its HCLSoftware division, which includes products acquired from IBM, operating in 60 countries with more than 223,000 employees and ranking as the third largest India-headquartered IT services company by revenue and market capitalization as of 2024. Roshni Nadar Malhotra chairs the company and C Vijayakumar serves as its chief executive and managing director.
