Hartwall is a Finnish beverage company headquartered in Helsinki, founded in 1836 and known for both alcoholic and soft drink brands including Lapin Kulta and Karjala beers, and the Jaffa, Pommac and Novelle soft drink lines, along with licensed manufacturing of PepsiCo brands in Finland. Its Gin Long Drink, introduced for the 1952 Helsinki Summer Olympics, remains one of the most heavily consumed mixed drinks in Finland. The company passed from Scottish and Newcastle to Heineken and then, in 2013, to Danish brewer Royal Unibrew.
