Global Payments Inc. is an American multinational financial technology company that provides payment technology to merchants, issuers, and consumers, processing payments made through credit cards, debit cards, and digital and contactless payments. The company originated in 2000 as a subsidiary of National Data Corporation and was spun off as an independent company in 2001, and it was named to the Fortune 500 in June 2021. It is headquartered at Three Alliance Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
