Gerber Legendary Blades is an American manufacturer of knives, multitools and outdoor and military equipment, based in Tigard, Oregon. Founded in 1939 by Pete Gerber in Portland, Oregon, the company is the largest maker of knives and multitools for the United States armed forces, and has been owned by the Finnish company Fiskars since 1987. Its products include fixed blade and folding knives, multitools and tactical equipment for both civilian and military use, among them the LMF II Infantry Knife, the Gerber Mark II combat knife and the Bear Grylls survival knife line launched in 2010.
