Georgian Airways, formerly Airzena, is the privately owned flag carrier of Georgia, headquartered in Tbilisi with its main base at Tbilisi International Airport. Founded in September 1993 to operate charter flights, it became Georgia's official flag carrier in 1999 and adopted its current name in August 2004, modernizing its fleet with Western aircraft including Boeing 737s.
