Genting Group is a Malaysian conglomerate headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, founded in 1965 by Lim Goh Tong and Mohamed Noah Omar, built around casino gaming, integrated resorts and hospitality. The group operates more than 50 resorts and casinos across three continents and six countries, including its flagship Resorts World Genting in Malaysia, and manages more than 18,000 hotel rooms with roughly 54,000 employees worldwide. Genting has also diversified into plantations, property development, power generation and biotechnology, and is led by executive chairman Lim Kok Thay.
