GE Vernova, Inc. is an energy equipment manufacturing and services company headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts, operating through three segments: Power, which designs, manufactures and services gas, nuclear, hydro and steam technologies; Wind, which provides onshore and offshore wind turbines and blades; and Electrification, which offers grid solutions, power conversion, solar and storage solutions and digital technologies for transmitting, distributing and managing electricity. The company was formed in April 2024 from the merger of GE Power, GE Renewable Energy, GE Digital and GE Energy Financial Services, as part of the breakup of General Electric, the conglomerate founded in 1892 through the merger of Thomas Edison's Edison General Electric Company and the Thomson-Houston Electric Company, following GE's earlier 2023 spin-off of GE HealthCare.
