Fiskars Corporation, known in Finnish as Fiskars Oyj Abp, is a Finnish consumer goods company founded in 1649 in the village of Fiskars, part of the town of Raseborg about 100 kilometers west of Helsinki, making it one of the oldest continuously operating companies in the world. Its global headquarters are in the Keilaniemi district of Espoo, near Helsinki. The company is best known for the orange-handled scissors it introduced in 1967, and today operates as an integrated consumer goods business making scissors, gardening tools, kitchenware, glassware, ceramics, knives and outdoor equipment.
