Fisher and Paykel Healthcare designs and manufactures medical devices for respiratory care, acute care and the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea, including CPAP machines, respiratory humidifiers, neonatal care equipment and breathing circuits. Founded in 1934 by Maurice Paykel and Sir Woolf Fisher and headquartered in East Tamaki, Auckland, the company manufactures in New Zealand and Mexico and exports about 99 percent of its revenue to roughly 120 countries. It is listed on both the New Zealand and Australian stock exchanges.
