FirstService Corporation is a Canadian publicly traded real estate services company specializing in residential property services, based in Toronto, Ontario. It was established in 1989 by Jay S. Hennick. The company operates through two main divisions, FirstService Residential, which manages approximately 8,000 residential communities including condominiums and homeowner associations across Canada and the United States, and FirstService Brands, which runs six franchise networks providing home services such as painting, restoration, and home inspections. FirstService trades on both NASDAQ and the Toronto Stock Exchange and employs around 24,000 people.
