Ferrocarril del Pacifico was a Mexican railroad company that operated a line from Nogales, Sonora, to Guadalajara, Jalisco, by way of Mazatlan, Sinaloa, running both long distance and regional passenger trains in addition to freight service. Formed in 1950 as successor to the Southern Pacific Railroad of Mexico, it used standard gauge track and operated named trains including El Yaqui and Mexicali, serving communities across Sonora, Sinaloa and Jalisco for 37 years before it was absorbed into Ferrocarriles Nacionales de Mexico in 1984.
