EY, formally Ernst & Young, is a multinational professional services network headquartered in London, formed in 1989 through a merger, though its oldest predecessor firm dates to 1849. It is one of the Big Four professional services firms alongside Deloitte, KPMG and PwC, providing assurance, tax, technology, consulting and transaction advisory services. As of 2026 EY employs about 406,000 people across more than 700 offices in over 150 countries and territories, generated 51.2 billion US dollars in revenue in fiscal year 2024, and has appeared on Fortune magazine's 100 Best Companies to Work For list for 25 consecutive years, longer than any competing accounting firm.
