Emerson Electric Co. is an American technology and engineering company headquartered in the St. Louis, Missouri area, founded in 1890 as a manufacturer of electric motors and fans. It grew into a large diversified industrial company supplying automation systems and equipment used across process industries such as oil and gas, chemicals and power generation, alongside a long-running line of climate and residential/commercial products.
