El Puerto de Liverpool is a Mexican conglomerate composed of commercial, financial and real estate divisions, founded in 1847 and legally established as a public company in 1944, headquartered in Santa Fe, Mexico City. Its commercial arm operates the Liverpool and Suburbia department store chains along with various fashion brand retail locations, its financial services provide insurance and customer credit, and its real estate division manages shopping malls; as of December 2023 the company held a 9.745 percent stake in United States retailer Nordstrom, later increased to 49.9 percent following a May 2025 acquisition that took Nordstrom private alongside the Nordstrom family. In 2022 it reported revenue of approximately 176 billion Mexican pesos, about 9.14 billion dollars, with 76,976 employees.
