Eichbaum was a German brewing company based in Mannheim, Baden-Wurttemberg, founded in 1679 by Mannheim councillor Jean du Chene, whose surname translates as Eichbaum, or oak tree. The brewery operated for over three centuries before being acquired by Actris GmbH, a company also owned by SAP co-founder Dietmar Hopp. Eichbaum filed for bankruptcy in October 2025 and was forced to halt production in July 2026.
