Eastern News Agency was a Japanese news agency established in October 1938 in Singapore. Three employees provided an information service for newspapers in British Malaya and for Japanese residents of Singapore, drawing most of its news from Domei Tsushin. In August 1940 its managing editor was detained following the death of M. J. Cox, and in September 1940 an employee, Mamoru Shinozaki, was arrested and convicted of espionage in what became known as the Shinozaki Case.
