DNB Bank ASA, formerly known as DnB NOR ASA, is Norway's largest financial services group, with combined assets of more than 3.6 trillion Norwegian krone and a market capitalization of about 400 billion krone as of 2024. The bank is headquartered in Oslo. Its two largest shareholders are the Royal Norwegian Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries, which holds 34.0 percent, and Sparebankstiftelsen DNB, which holds 10.0 percent; the latter is a foundation created to preserve customer ownership stakes when the bank went public, and it may donate up to 25 percent of its dividend income to charitable causes.
