Deberny & Peignot was a French type foundry created by the 1923 merger of G. Peignot & Fils and Deberny & Cie. The Swiss Haas Type Foundry bought the company in 1972, which was later merged into D. Stempel AG in 1985 and then into Linotype GmbH in 1989. Its typefaces and legacy now form part of the Monotype Corporation.
