CubeSmart is an American real estate investment trust headquartered in Malvern, Pennsylvania, that owns and operates self-storage facilities across the United States. It was established in July 2004 as U-Store-It Trust, completed an initial public offering that October, and adopted its current name on September 14, 2011. As of the end of 2024 CubeSmart owned 631 self-storage properties across 25 states and Washington, D.C., totaling 45.8 million rentable square feet, ranking it the third-largest self-storage company in the United States.
