Cracker Barrel

Cracker Barrel is an American restaurant and gift store chain built around a Southern country theme, founded in Lebanon, Tennessee in 1969 by Dan Evins and Tommy Lowe, with early locations sited near interstate highway exits across the Southeastern and Midwestern United States before later nationwide expansion, including a move into Oregon and California beginning in 2017 and 2018. Each restaurant combines a menu of traditional Southern dishes such as biscuits, grits and country ham with a country store and a front porch lined with rocking chairs. Headquartered in Lebanon, Tennessee, the company operates several hundred locations and trades on the Nasdaq exchange under the ticker CBRL.
