The Cowbridge and Aberthaw Railway was a South Wales railway company authorized by the Cowbridge and Aberthaw Railway Act of 1889 to serve limestone workings, opening its line on 1 October 1892 as an extension of the earlier Cowbridge Railway. The Taff Vale Railway absorbed the company in 1895, and passenger service between Cowbridge and Aberthaw ended in 1932 as the combined line declined under competition from bus services.
