Corteva, Inc. is an American agricultural chemical and seed company headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, that develops and sells seeds and crop protection products, including herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, and biological products, in roughly 110 countries. It was created in March 2018 as a subsidiary of DowDuPont, the company formed by the 2017 merger of Dow Chemical Company and DuPont, and became an independent public company in June 2019 when DowDuPont spun it off as one of three successor companies, alongside Dow Inc. and DuPont, both already live in this atlas. Corteva's principal seed brand is Pioneer Hi-Bred International, acquired by DuPont in the 1990s.
