Cooley LLP is an American international law firm founded in 1920 in San Francisco and now headquartered in Palo Alto, California, with offices worldwide. The firm practices across corporate, litigation, intellectual property, fund formation, public markets, employment, life sciences, clean technology, real estate, financial services, retail, regulatory and energy work, and is particularly known for its technology and life sciences practice and its venture capital connections. It employed about 1,072 attorneys across 17 offices as of 2020 and reported 2022 revenue of about 2 billion dollars.
