Chemin de fer Baie des Chaleurs was a short line railway company headquartered in New Richmond, Quebec, established on 1 December 1996 as a subsidiary of the holding company Quebec Railway Corporation to operate former Canadian National Railway lines, running freight service on a network that initially stretched 202 miles from Matapedia in the west to Chandler and later Gaspe in the east on standard-gauge track under the reporting mark CBC. In 2007 Quebec Railway Corporation sold the company remaining assets to the Societe de chemin de fer de la Gaspesie, ending its eleven years of independent operation.
