The Central Railroad Company of Indiana, reporting mark CIND, is a Class III short-line railroad that owns 83 miles (134 kilometres) of track running between Cincinnati, Ohio, and Shelbyville, Indiana, with trackage rights over CSX on to Indianapolis. CIND interchanges with CSX, the Indiana and Ohio Railway, and Norfolk Southern at Cincinnati, and with CSX again at North Bend, Ohio; an Indiana and Ohio branch line splits from the CIND line at Valley Junction, near Hooven, Ohio.
