The Central New England Railroad, reporting mark CNZR, is a short line railroad that began operating in 1995 on former Conrail trackage in and around Hartford, Connecticut. Headquartered in Windsor, Connecticut, it runs about 22.2 miles of standard gauge track, chiefly the Griffins Secondary running north from Hartford Union Station to Windsor and, until the end of 2025, the Armory Branch to the Massachusetts state line at Enfield, when Connecticut Southern Railroad took over that branch operation. Its main freight customer has been a Home Depot distribution center, and the Griffins Secondary has been largely dormant since that facility relocated in 2021.
