Caswell-Massey is an American fragrance and personal care products company founded in 1752 in Newport, Rhode Island, by the Scottish-born physician William Hunter, originally as an apothecary shop. It makes fine fragrances, soaps, bath and body products, men's shaving products, and other toiletries, and its products have historically been used by figures including George Washington and John F. Kennedy. Regarded as the oldest American consumer brand still in operation, Caswell-Massey is now a privately owned company headquartered in Edison, New Jersey.
