Cameco Corporation is the world's largest publicly traded uranium company, based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. It was established in 1988 through the merger and privatization of two Canadian Crown corporations, Eldorado Nuclear Limited and the Saskatchewan Mining Development Corporation. The company produces uranium and electricity, maintaining mining operations across North America and Kazakhstan along with uranium refining and conversion facilities in Ontario. As of 2025 the organization reported revenue of 3.482 billion Canadian dollars with approximately 3,082 employees.
