The Bury St Edmunds and Thetford Railway was a British railway company authorised on July 5, 1873, to build a line between Thetford and Bury St Edmunds in eastern England, with assistance from the neighboring Thetford and Watton Railway. The company's line opened on March 1, 1876, connecting the two market towns.
