Brookfield Infrastructure Partners L.P. is a publicly traded limited partnership with corporate headquarters in Toronto, Canada, that acquires and manages infrastructure assets on a global basis. It was established through a spin-off from Brookfield Asset Management in January 2008, and its parent retains a 30 percent ownership stake and acts as the partnership's general manager. The firm manages a diverse portfolio spanning utilities, transportation, energy, and communications infrastructure, including transmission and telecommunication lines, toll roads, ports, and pipelines across multiple continents, with particular presence in Australia, Brazil, Canada, and the United States. As of 2024 the company reported revenues of 21 billion US dollars and total assets of 36.916 billion US dollars.
