The Mexican Stock Exchange, known as the Bolsa Mexicana de Valores or BMV, is one of two stock exchanges in Mexico, founded on September 5, 1933 and headquartered in Mexico City. It is the second largest stock exchange in Latin America after the Sao Paulo based B3 and the fifth largest in the Americas, and the exchange platform is owned by BMV Group, which also operates the derivatives exchange MexDer and the custody agency Indeval.
