Bobcat Company is an American manufacturer of farm and construction equipment, founded in 1947 in Gwinner, North Dakota, and now headquartered in West Fargo, North Dakota, under the ownership of the South Korean firm Doosan Corporation, based in Seongnam. It produces skid steer loaders, compact excavators, side by side utility vehicles, compact tractors, mowers and other small hydraulic equipment, and is one of the major manufacturing operations in North Dakota. Ingersoll Rand owned Bobcat from 1995 until 2007, when it was sold to Doosan Infracore for 4.9 billion dollars, and its majority ownership passed to Doosan Heavy Industries in July 2021.
