Bidvest Group Limited is a South African services, trading, and distribution company that owns a diverse set of businesses, headquartered in Johannesburg and traded on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange under the ticker BVT. The company was founded in 1988 by Brian Joffe and listed on the exchange in 1990; in its 2025 financial year it reported revenue of R126.61 billion, operating income of R10.73 billion, net income of R6.44 billion, total assets of R124.59 billion, and total equity of R41.41 billion. Nompumelelo Mpumi Madisa became Bidvest's first female Group CEO in October 2020, and in December 2024 Bidvest sold its Bidvest Bank subsidiary to Access Bank South Africa for R2.8 billion, continuing a strategic unbundling that began in 2016.
