The Bengal and North Western Railway was a railway company registered on October 23, 1882 and operated by the Bengal and North Western Railway Company in northern India, serving routes connecting Sonepur, Chhapra, Varanasi and Allahabad through a main line and loop line network. The company was merged into the Oudh and Tirhut Railway on January 1, 1943, ending roughly 61 years of independent operation.
