The Beitbridge Bulawayo Railway is a privately owned railway company that has operated a freight rail link in Zimbabwe between the South African border town of Beitbridge and the city of Bulawayo since its 1999 inauguration. Built as a build-operate-transfer project by the Mauritius-registered New Limpopo Projects Investments Limited, its Cape gauge line cut the distance between Bulawayo and South Africa to 317 kilometers, and the line is due to transfer to the National Railways of Zimbabwe at no cost after thirty years of operation.
