The Bega Group is an Australian diversified food and drinks company with manufacturing sites in New South Wales, Queensland, Western Australia and Victoria, founded as an agricultural cooperative in the town of Bega, New South Wales, by its dairy suppliers before becoming a public company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange in 2011. Close to half of its publicly traded shares are still held by Bega's farmer-suppliers, and it is one of the largest companies in the Australian dairy sector, with a base milk supply of about 750 million litres a year as of 2018. Its brands include the flagship Bega cheese label, Vegemite, Farmers Table, Zoosh, Picky Picky, Tatura and Dairymont, and as of 2019 more than half of its revenue came from spreads, dairy consumer packaged goods and other grocery products, with bulk core dairy ingredients and Bega Bionutrients nutritional products making up most of the remainder.
