The Bay Line Railroad is a Class III short line railroad, founded in 1994 and headquartered in Panama City, Florida, operating between Panama City and Dothan, Alabama, with an additional branch from Grimes to Abbeville, Alabama over trackage rights on the Dothan Subdivision owned by CSX. It is one of several short line railroads owned by Genesee and Wyoming Inc, running about 182 miles of track and interchanging with several regional railroads to carry commodities including aggregates, brick, cement, chemicals, coal and forest products.
