Bausch and Lomb, styled since 2010 as Bausch plus Lomb, is a Canadian eye health products company based in Vaughan, Ontario, and one of the world's largest suppliers of contact lenses, lens care products, pharmaceuticals, intraocular lenses and other eye surgery products. It was founded in Rochester, New York, in 1853 by optician John Bausch and financial backer Henry Lomb, and until its 2013 sale was one of the oldest continually operating companies in the United States; it was acquired by Warburg Pincus in 2007 and then by Valeant Pharmaceuticals in 2013.
