Barrick Mining Corporation is a precious metals extraction company headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It was founded in 1983 by Peter Munk and produces gold and copper, operating mines across multiple continents including Argentina, Canada, Chile, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Egypt, Jamaica, Mali, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Peru, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Tanzania, the United States, and Zambia. In 2024 the company extracted 3.91 million ounces of gold and 195,000 tonnes of copper. The company was formerly known as Barrick Gold Corporation until May 2025, when it rebranded to reflect its expanding copper portfolio alongside its traditional gold mining focus.
