Barratt Redrow plc is a British residential property developer operating across England, Wales and Scotland, headquartered in Coalville, England. Its lineage traces to 1958, when Lawrie Barratt and Lewis Greensitt founded Greensitt Bros, which floated on the London Stock Exchange in 1968 and was rebranded Barratt Developments; the company grew through acquisitions including Wilson Bowden in 2007 before merging with rival housebuilder Redrow in October 2024 to form the present group. The merged company builds under multiple brands, including Barratt Homes, David Wilson Homes and Redrow, and targets more than 22,000 home completions a year, making it Britain's largest homebuilder by combined output. Barratt Redrow is a constituent of the FTSE 100 Index.
