BabyBjorn is a Swedish family-owned company, founded in 1961 by Bjorn Jakobson and Elsa Jakobson, that develops, manufactures and markets baby products including baby carriers, bouncers, sleep products, bathroom items and kitchen products. Based in Sundbyberg, Sweden, the company is known for ergonomic design in the Scandinavian minimalist style and for long-term rather than disposable product development, with Lillemor Jakobson joining as creative designer in 1962. Its products are sold in more than 50 countries, with major markets in the United States, Japan and South Korea.
