Aurizon Holdings Limited is an Australian freight rail transport company headquartered in Brisbane, formed in 2004-05 when Queensland Rail's coal, bulk and container divisions were consolidated as the government-owned QR National before the company was privatized and publicly listed. It transports coal, bulk and containerised freight across multiple Australian states, describing itself as Australia's largest rail-based transport business with more than 250 million tonnes of commodities carried per year, and it has traded on the Australian Securities Exchange under the ticker AZJ since November 2010. It was rebranded from QR National Limited to Aurizon Holdings Limited in 2012, and reported revenue of 3.844 billion Australian dollars in 2024.
